Sele

Chris Sele CxA, Managing Partner
Project Manager

Chris has provided over 20 years of service in the Commercial & Residential Construction and Engineering Industries.  Chris' services rendered include (but are not limited to): Mechanical system estimating, project budgeting, project management, HVAC and plumbing design and engineering of systems,  and commercial building commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems.

Chris enjoys fishing, church, going to Chiefs games and helping coach his daughter's softball team in the summer.

Dane Pletcher P.E., Managing Partner
Project Manager

One of Dane’s passions has long been the construction industry, and he’s been in it since 1999.  Over the years he has acquired experience in numerous segments including residential, commercial, institutional, healthcare, and industrial.  He graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Architectural Engineering.  Having been employed in capacities ranging from carpenter to manufacturer’s sales representative to consulting engineer, Dane’s broad knowledge base brings tangible value to Innovative Groups’ clients and their lifetime facility investments.

Outside of work you’ll find Dane spending time with his wife and three children, helping out at church/school, being outdoors, and trying to knock items off his long to-do list on the house.

Kyle

Kyle Banick, Managing Partner
Project Manager

Kyle has over 10 years experience in the construction industry, including three as a self-employed General Contractor.  He has worked as a production manager for a local Wichita company for 5 years.  Where he was in charge of manpower, scheduling, ordering, and inventories.

Kyle enjoys time with the family, baseball, church, and helping his daughter with all her activities.

Jacob Weaver
Project Manager

Jacob is a dedicated and detailed engineer with over 8 years of experience in mechanical HVAC equipment selection, controls, estimation, and project management.  He earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in mathematics from Wichita State University.  His equipment selections on local projects have resulted in nationally-renowned awards in engineering excellence.

Jacob enjoys running, being in nature, spending time with his wife and kids, volunteering, and working on crafty projects at home.

Bridget

Bridget Wilkinson
Project Manager

Bridget graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Architectural Engineering. During her time at K-State she focused on HVAC design. She is also an active member is ASHRAE’s Wichita chapter.

During her time outside of work Bridget enjoys spending time with her family, going to the gym and coming up with projects to do around the house.

Chris Schaeffer
Project Manager

Chris brings over three decades of expertise in Maintenance and Facilities Management, with a distinguished career primarily focused on serving the Kansas Public Schools system. He was the Facilities Specialist at Wichita Public Schools and played a pivotal role in the successful execution of the 2000 and 2008 Bond projects, overseeing the 2008 Bond projects from initial design phase to project completion and punch list finalization. In 2018 he joined Newton Public Schools as Director of Maintenance and Facilities.

Chris has gained a comprehensive skill set through these positions including, but not limited to, code enforcement, proficient project management, and adept maintenance practices. He has an eye for detail in identifying facilities issues, including both visual and operational.

Mercedes Scott
Administration

Mercedes has been in Administration since she graduated with her degree in 2012. She started in the Medical field for about 10 years until she branched off into business of her own outside of Medical. She loves the thought of helping businesses grow in any way she can bringing value by doing all the odds and ends that takes time so the team can do what they do best on putting focus at hand on projects.

Mercedes has a beautiful family that she enjoys to watch grow along with businesses that her and her wife has started up since Covid. Her free time is spent driving around people watching and singing to the radio.
